Hi. It's me. I've decided to hand out some awards, which once again, don't matter and will probably be wrong. Also I think I should predict the playoffs and Super Bowl participants.
MVP:
AARON RODGERS, PACKERS: Duh. This was so easy. The Packers are perfect, and Rodgers is the reason. The Packers don't have a great running game, which means defenses know what they will do. And Rodgers has still been unstoppable. I mean, come on, this guy is ridiculous. He is destroying all defenses, as evidenced by the fantasy points he gives to me!
OFFENSIVE POY:
CALVIN JOHNSON, LIONS: Ok, this should probably be Rodgers, but it's against my religion to give one person more than 1 award, so, sorry Aaron. However, Johnson isn't a bad second choice. He has been practically unstoppable this season, with 47 catches, 804 yards, and 11 touchdowns! Those numbers are surreal, and Calvin Johnson could (possibly) break Randy Moss' record of 23 receiving touchdowns.
DEFENSIVE POY:
DARRELLE REVIS, JETS: I actually had no idea who should have won this award, so I just looked up Revis' stats, liked them, and gave the worthless award to him. He has 4 interceptions, which is a pretty surprising number considering teams should never throw the ball anywhere near the dude.
OFFENSIVE ROY:
ANDY DALTON, BENGALS: The Bengals are 6-2, and Dalton has been really good. I'm not saying he is why they are 6-2, but he is a large chunk of the reason. Cam Newton may have better numbers, but the Panthers are 2-6, which makes his numbers basically worthless. Heck, I'd even put AJ Green above Newton in this award.
DEFENSIVE ROY:
PATRICK PETERSON, CARDINALS: This guy just clinched the award yesterday. Seriously, watch this. Even though it was a partially stupid decision to return it at the 1 yards line, it worked! He has 3 punt return touchdowns this year, and he has 2 interceptions, which isn't too shabby. I have a feeling that this is the next Devin Hester, except he actually plays a position besides returner.
