I HATE THE NFL

Hi. It's me, Pablo the Hispanic gardener. Actually, it's just Alex. I'm not cool enough to have any cool guest writers. As you should know, I like sports. Also, I like the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS, which is not good this year. Peyton Manning, obviously the most valuable player in NFL history after the first 2 weeks of the season, had neck surgery. It was supposedly "minor" surgery, but the prolonged lockout kept him away from the Colts trainers, which messed with his recovery. Then, bad turned to worse. Manning had a SECOND surgery just before the season started, and he will be out 2-3 months. Which means bad things for me, the Colts fan. That means the Colts will be a running team, which is bad because A) the Colts Offensive lineman are pass-blockers and B) I don't trust Joseph Addai, Donald Brown, and some rookie from Syracuse. Also the Colts have Kerry Collins, the old fart quarterback. Actually, he looks like this, but that isn't much better. Collins was actually retired this season, and now he's the quarterback for one of the most complexes offenses in the history of the NFL? Ok, that's awesome. I don't doubt Collins ability as a player, he must be alright if he's been playing for 1,000 years. I doubt his knowledge of the system No quarterback in NFL history could run this offense to the level that Manning does, not even you, Tom Brady. Don't even get me started on their Defense. They are built to play while they are ahead, and they won't be ahead much with Collins as QB. I think I'll just fall asleep and wake up next June, after the Colts have a high draft pick and draft an awesome player (Andrew Luck?). Well that's all that's on my mind.

Bye,
Alex
